It is great to see these smart donated guernseys getting a second life. They were taken 120km South East of Katherine by the AFL NT Youth Development Team to a community called Jilkminggan. The ‘Jilkminggan Blues’ were thrilled to get to wear the uniforms.

Our friend Kane at Ambarvale High School is making a difference to kids lives. Kane is implementing a lot of indigenous games involving various sports. We were delighted to support his amazing effort with kits and equipment for the students.
Throughout 2019, Miller Technology High School boys and girls played football. Most of our players come from a refugee background and have come to Australia to kick-start their new lives. Most of them have a passion for football and despite their limited English, it is through football that they develop new friendships and gain a sense of belonging. For the past two years KBFK has provided kits and sports equipment in support of The Lilla Sports and Story Telling Festival. The fantastic, selfless work of the volunteers that pull the festival together each year is an inspiration to us all at KBFK.
“In June 2019 the NASCA team delivered a week of education and cultural programs to over 250 Aboriginal kids in the remote Communities of Epenarra, Canteen Creek, Papunya, Haasts Bluff and Ali Curung.
